Blockchain.com approved to operate in Italy

Cryptocurrency exchange Blockchain.com has announced that it has been registered as a virtual asset service provider in Italy.

In February, Italy formed a special registry with its brokerage regulator to list crypto operators, with a stable presence in the country, that have met certain requirements.

Blockchain.com is one of the many exchanges that has recently been granted approval to operate in Italy.

Digital asset firms Zonda, Coinbase, Crypto.com and Bitstamp have all been given to go-ahead by the Organismo Agenti e Mediatori to offer services in the country.

Blockchain.com can now offer crypto and digital wallet services to institutional investors and Italian residents, according to the statement on Thursday, August 5.

“This registration strengthens our position to offer services across Europe”, Blockchain.com said.

You don’t have to invest in cryptocurrencies to enjoy them. Simply use your cryptocurrencies to play great games at trusted sites such as: Bitcasino, 1xBit or FortuneJack.
