Ukrainian esports organization Natus Vincere (Na’Vi) has announced a new partnership with crypto exchange Bybit.
The partnership will promote awareness for cryptocurrencies among esports fans and the partners will work on a range of collaborations designed to “drive impact”.
This will include various charities and school projects, as well as a campaign against bulling.
Na’Vi is the second major esports organization to seek closer ties with a crypto exchange, after Team SoloMid (TSM), sold naming rights to Hong Kong based crypto exchange FTX. As a result, TSM was renamed as TSM FTX.
Na’Vi said: “Cryptocurrency and esports have a lot in common, which is why we have partnered with Bybit, a fast-growing cryptocurrency exchange. We will have three whole years to tell and show our fans how to utilize cryptocurrency to the maximum benefit.”
Na’Vi’s players will also participate in the World Series of Trading (WSOT) competition that promotes cryptocurrencies and seeks to give them more exposure.
In a press release, Na’Vi CMO Alexander Pavlenko said that it was a great honor to be partnering up with Bybit and bringing the two teams together.
Esports is an important factor in crypto space. Tech-savvy esports fans are opening up to NFTs released by BLAST Premier and WePlay, and Na’Vi is following in on this trend by raising awareness for blockchain and crypto technology.
“We hope to bring new game-changing and engaging projects to make esports the better place to play together”, Pavlenko concluded.
