joins K-pop agency in NFT venture and South Korean entertainment agency Fantagio have announced a joint venture to pursue non-fungible token (NFT) projects.

In a bid to “step into the NFT market as soon as possible” the K-pop agency has signed a business agreement with digital assets platform for an “NFT collaboration”.

Fantagio (previously N.O.A. Entertainment) announced a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with the crypto exchange, highlighting clear outlines of the joint agreement, according to local reports.

Fantagio is a Korean Securities Dealers Automated Quotations (KOSDAQ) listed company managing and forming well-known K-pop groups such as popular girl band Weki Meki and boy band ASTRO.

The partnership follows the likes of many K-pop agencies who have shown an interest in metaverse and crypto projects.

South Korean entertainment company HYBE is working closely with Korean cryptocurrency exchange Dunamu to launch an NFT venture later this year.
