Drake lands monster UFC bet with Stake.com

Rap sensation Drake further enhanced his massive wealth over the weekend when he collected an astonishing £3m worth of Bitcoin (BTC) from a UFC bet.

The Canadian was once again betting with Stake.com – this time placing a £1.9m double on Liverpool fighters Paddy Pimblett and Molly McCann at UFC London.

Drake posted the winning BTC bet on Instagram showing the Stake.com betting slip and captioning it ‘A Scousers parley’, referencing the two fighters’ home cities.

Drake has promised both fighters a brand new Rolex watch as he looks to celebrate his double and thank Pimblett and McCann for going all the way in their bouts.

It’s not the first time Drake has done his best to promote the leading crypto gambling operator. In May he handed out $1m worth of BTC to viewers during a live Twitch stream.

Drake gave away 35 BTC in total with some randomly selected viewers collecting up to $75,000 worth of BTC. Winners hailed from India, Mexico, Brazil, Argentina and Canada.

He didn’t have it all his own way that night as he apparently lost $18m of BTC on roulette. However, it’s unclear whether any of that was house money as part of the promotion.

Drake’s big win in the UFC follows his successful $1m bet on Israel Adesanya during his UFC middleweight title defence against Jared Cannonier.
