Italian Serie A side Bologna has become the latest to sign a long-term partnership with fantasy sports game platform Sorare.
Bologna, which currently sits at 16th in the Italian topflight heading into the international break, has named Sorare as its official NFT Fantasy Football Gaming Partner.
Bologna and Sorare will work together to curate collectible digital NFTs for supporters around the world while also giving them the chance to gain exclusive experiences.
Sorare head of business development Michael Meltzer said: “Bologna FC are one of Italy’s most iconic clubs; a footballing juggernaut with unparalleled history and one of the largest and most passionate fanbases in the sport.

Bologna FC 1909 marketing and commercial director Christoph Winterling said: “We are extremely happy to partner up with Sorare, one of the fast-growing companies in the digital world of sport. Together with Sorare we will offer our fans a lot of services and experiences we never had the chance to offer before.”
Sorare currently works with fans across 185 countries and hopes this partnership will help it convert even more users while helping Bologna fans stay connected with their team.
It’s the latest in a succession of deals for Sorare. With the unique NFT platform already working with teams such as Borussia Dortmund, AS Monaco and Saint-Etienne.
As well as organisations including Major League Baseball, Serie A and La Liga and globally known individuals such as France and PSG striker Kylian Mbappe.
