Sorare, a non-fungible token (NFT) platform that focuses on European soccer, has reshuffled it management structure after a recent funding round raised $680m.
The fresh investment round in September elicited backing from numerous sports and entertainment personalities.
As a result, Sorare has been able to switch up its management, with Ryan Spoon stepping in as chief operating officer.
Spoon has served stints at both BetMGM and ESPN. Michael Meltzer will step in as VP of business development, bringing related experience from DraftKings.
David Byttow is coming in as principle architect and head of mobile. Byttow has experience at several tech companies, including Lyft, Snap and Postmates. Kiana Davari will now be Sorare’s head of people and the company.
With this combined expertise, Sorare is planning a push into the in US market. Presently, Sorare operates out of its head office in Paris, France.
