Stake.com adds Manchester City striker Sergio Aguero

Stake.com has signed former Manchester City ace Sergio Aguero as the company’s new brand ambassador.

Stake.com, which holds a Gambling Commission of Great Britain license, has been expanding its footprint in the UK betting market, and most recently with the addition of Aguero to the company’s list of esteemed athletes that now represent it.

The partnership is set to cover multiple years and will involve a number of initiatives, including exclusive content, VIP guest packages and promotions.

Stake.com CEO Mladen Vuckovic welcomed the opportunity to be adding Aguero to the company’s list of ambassadors, drawing parallels between the company and Aguero’s respective presences in the world of sports worldwide.

“Sergio’s legacy speaks for itself and he is the perfect fit for us as we continue to expand Stake.com’s global presence”, Vuckovic said.

Aguero is an important asset for Stake.com. His career, while interrupted abruptly due to a heart condition, has been one of the most memorable in City’s club history.

Aguero won five titles playing for Manchester City and he played over 100 international games for his home national team, Argentina.

“I can’t wait to get started on all the exciting initiatives we have planned for fans as we build up to the World Cup later this year”, Aguero said.

Following his retirement from soccer, Aguero decided to invest in esports and has been passionate about competitive video gaming. His team, KRÜ Esports, is a powerhouse in the gaming ecosystem.

Aguero joins a number of other athletes who have teamed up with Stake.com, including Francis Ngannou and Israel Adesanya both of whom are part of the Ultimate Fighting Championship.

The company has been well-established across British sports. Last year, Stake.com signed a partnership with Watford FC.

Meanwhile, you may bet on sports using Stake.com’s platform or opting for alternatives such as Sportsbet.io or Cloudbet.
