Betting operator W88 has agreed a record-breaking deal to become Premier League side Fulham’s principal partner and main shirt sponsor.
W88’s logo will take pride of place on both the men’s and women’s kits for the 2022/23 season as well as on digital advertising boards around the team’s ground, Craven Cottage, and club content.
Fulham were sponsored by World Mobile last season and the blockchain firm will continue to work with the newly-promoted Premier League side as its sleeve sponsor.
W88 business development manager Hilly Ehrlich said: “We are both proud and excited to be partnering with London’s oldest professional football club, Fulham FC, as they return to the top-flight of English football.
“We are also looking forward to engaging with their passionate global fanbase during the season ahead and delivering innovative content with the club.
“With a global footprint, W88 is a brand which represents integrity, trust and excellence and we will be actively promoting responsible gaming.”
It’s not the first time Fulham have been sponsored by a gambling operator. Bet Victor penned a £3m deal with the west London side during their 2020/21 season.
This latest bookmaker deal is a record for the club as it prepares to unveil its latest strip ahead of the new season later this month.
Fulham sales director Jon Don-Carolis said: “We’re pleased to welcome W88 on board as main team partner this season in a record sponsorship deal for the club.
“The deal provides significant revenue to assist with our commercial objectives, enabling us to compete in a challenging and exciting Premier League campaign.”
